After a minimum of 60 months on the lees, the Franciacorta Pas Dosé Riserva "QdE" is riddled to concentrate the sediment against the temporary cap, then disgorged and packaged. Franciacorta DOCG Riserva QdE appears a shimmering straw yellow, with golden highlights from the sun infusing its vineyards. Its foamy mousse, dense but delicate, is impressively lengthy, and a rich, spacious bouquet releases intoxicating fragrances of yeast, fresh bread crust, and dried nuts. On the palate it is totally seductive, vivaciously elegant, and superbly balanced.
